Movie Date: Kung Fu Panda 2

I love pandas, they are adorably cute and cuddly. So when they release the first sequel and watch it, I told to my self that second will be much more cute and funny. I wasn't wrong, as they said it was twice the awesomeness. PO was very funny and it was so right that they picked Jack Black to be PO's voice. I just learned that Jackie Chan was the monkey and Lucy Liu was the viper.

Me and my boyfriend went to Eastwood, Quezon City to watch Kung Fu Panda 2. We were too late for the 6:30pm and it was already full so we decided to take the 8:00pm. So while killing time, we had and early dinner at Stackers and had to walk and take pictures.

Shoe Lover

I loves shoes more than clothes or accessories. When I go shopping,first thing I visit are shoe stores. Shoes are my life but unfortunately I don't have a closet full of it. I am not yet in a job that pays a lot of money but if I am, I will shop till I drop.

My favorites are wedges or platform wedges. I find it comfortable to wear and to walk with.

 

 

 

 

 Next favorite are platform heels and boots though I don't usually use it often cause I get blisters and callouses.

 

I invest shoes not base in labels nor size but base on the quality. Either cheap or not as long it will last to wear.

Next On My List

Nikon AF-S 50mm f/1.8 G

I've been wanting to buy my camera a new lens which now I'm eying for the new Nikon AF-S 50mm f/1.8 G. According to www.kenrockwell.com, this lens work on every camera and it is the first 50mm f/1.8 that autofocuses on D3100 (my camera). I just don't know when will this be available on the Philippines cause I'll be buying it with no regrets.

Flu Season

 

I'm definitely sick and have a flu.

Yesterday, I was soaked and wet from the rain and I was freezing in the office. My pants were wet, so is my shoes and socks. I had to let it dry so I was walking barefoot in our place. I knew then that I will catch a cold which I have now.

Oh well, I'm a stubborn little girl. I hate taking medicines and drinking juices rich in vitamin C. I'm working in night shift for almost 5 weeks now and 1 more week until I'll be going back to working in day shift. Stressful I know, so I should be taking care of myself from now on. So no more visit to the doctor and so no more money will go to waste for poor health.

Things I do and should other else do when getting sick:

Drink plenty of water

Have enough sleep

( 8 hours of sleep, more than that would definitely give you body ache. Trust me, it happens to me when I sleep more than 10 hours )

Eat plenty of fruits ( Vitamin C )

Take Vitamin C Tablets

(Probably not for me)

RELAXATION AND REST IS THE BEST MEDICINE I KNOW!!!

Skate Boarding Newbie

This was taken last month, and nooooo I cant skate. I wanted to' skate so bad but the problem is that I don't want to have bruises and scars from skate accidents. Anyway my friend was teaching me, and oh yeah he was teaching me the basic flip. lol! I am a failure though. Will try to buy my own skateboard and try to practice. It's so cool to see myself doing tricks and be a bad ass skater on the street.

Just got back from the mall. Went home early cause I was tired and sleepy. Been up for almost 24 hours now, and my body clock is about to shut down. Tsk! Before I sleep, I had to ask my boyfriend to take picture of me outside my apartment. What can you say?! Haggard?! YES!
And oh by the way! All the restrain-my-self-to-sweets and all the dreadful exercising has actually paid off. Not yet thin but definitely there are changes. OH YES!

Wondering in Ilocos

We've been working our ass off and beating our brains out with our job, and we've been really exhausted for the past few weeks. So I was been MIA for the past few days and I failed at updating my blog. You'll understand why?!

Anyway! I would like to share you about our vacation in my home town, Laoag, Ilocos Norte. It was Holyweek, so 4 days of walking, laughing and taking pictures under the scorching heat of the sun.

First Day. 10 hours of long drive, so we decided to take a rest and just be ready for the next day. However, I wanted to show them around. We headed to Fort Ilocandia first. Unfortunately, guards won't allow us inside the hotel. I just wanted to show them the Resort, but better luck next time.

Anyway, next stop was in Paoay. I had to show them one of the historical church of Ilocos.

We went straight to Pangil Beach, Currimao and I had to drive fast as I can, just to have a view of the sunset. They were amaze with the place and take silhouette pictures.

After spending an hours on Pangil and exhausted from all the poses and clicking of the camera, we were very hungry. We went to Batac, and let them taste one of the finest and yummiest delicacy of Ilocos. EMPANADA.



After pigging out, we went straight home and took a rest. Some of us had a little drinking session.

Second Day. I had to ask Dad to drive us to Vigan City. I am not familiar with the directions going there.
